Our lead climbing course is for climbers who want to try lead climbing for the first time or to use the course as a refresher if you've given it a go before but are a little rusty.

You'll experience 2 days of learning about lead climbing and trying out your new skills on some brilliant routes.  Place your own runners using trad protection, set up a safe belay to bring up your second climber and learn how to abseil back down. Get your head around climbing equipment like hex's, cams and nuts, gain a clear understanding of maintenance of kit and climb with single and double ropes.

You can choose to attend our lead climbing course in a number of amazing UK climbing destinations including Swanage, Portland, Peak District, North Wales, Devon and Cornwall. We'll get you deciding what routes you want to do by using the guide books before you tackle some awesome and exhilarating lead climbs!
